Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster made in 1999 is now in stock.

Fender Custom Shop is one of the most prestigious Fender lineup.
The Stratocaster is a 1960 Stratocaster.

Alder is used for the body, maple for the neck, and the fretboard is made of high quality rosewood with conduits and a tight grain similar to Brazilian rosewood and Madagascar rosewood.
The neck is marked "10 20 99," confirming that it was made in 1999.

The black "JC" stamp on the neck and the "JC" engraving on the control cavity of the body indicate that John Cruz, who was not yet promoted to master builder, was involved in some way with the neck and body construction.
The "60 CC" engraving on the front pickup cavity confirms that this is one of the closet classic finish guitars made by John Cruz.

The paint has been realistically burnished and the feel of use has been added, and it appears to be steadily approaching a genuine vintage finish.

It has been checked and overall adjusted by our professional repair staff after arrival and is in excellent playing condition.
This is a good guitar that we hope you will use for a long time and develop it into one of your own.

Lacks certificate of authenticity. Arm and bridge cover included.

1999年に製作されたフェンダー･カスタムショップ製1960ストラトキャスターが入荷致しました。

数あるフェンダーラインナップの中で最高峰に位置するカスタムショップ。
入荷した個体は1960年製ストラトキャスターをモチーフに製作された１本となっています。

ボディーにはアルダー、ネックにはメイプルネック、指板にはブラジリアン･ローズウッドやマダガスカル･ローズウッドに類似した導管と、目の詰まり方をした良質なローズウッド材が使用されています。
ネックには"10 20 99"の文字が入れられており、1999年に製作された個体である事が確認出来ます。

特筆する点として、ネックには"JC"の黒スタンプ、ボディーのコントロールキャビティ部分には"JC"の刻印が刻まれており、この時期、まだマスタービルダー昇格前であったジョン･クルーズがネック、ボディーの製作に何かしらの形で関わっていた個体と思われます。
フロントピックアップのキャビティには"60 CC"の刻印がある事より、同社のクローゼット･クラシックフィニッシュである事が確認出来ます。

製造より20年以上の時の経過により、クローゼットクラシックとして制作された個体は経年変化によりリアルな塗装焼けや、使用感が追加されており、本物のビンテージへと着実に近づいている様子が伺えます。

入荷後に専門のリペア担当にてチェック･全体調整を行い、演奏コンディションも良好です。
長くお使いいただき、自分だけの１本へと育てていただきたい良いギターでございます。
