1978 Strat with ash body in blonde finish with rosewood fretboard, no way 3.5kg Strat in stock!

Body is ash with a bronze finish with transparent grain. There is a body date stamp on the neck pocket on the body side, which suggests it was made in 1977. Neck is maple with rosewood fingerboard surface. PU is original gray bobbin with front date '78, center date '77, and rear date '78. The selector has been replaced, the pots have been replaced, and the associated capacitors have been replaced. There is a sticker on the back of the pickguard with the head serial number, which is original. Some of the pickguard screws have been replaced, the nut has been replaced, and the back panel is missing.

The pickguard has some picking scratches as well as line scratches on various parts, probably from polishing with coarse steel wool or other abrasives. There is paint sagging in the elbow contour at the lower left of the body top, in the cutaway, and in the body back contour. There are paint cracks on both sides of the neck joint. There are dents and peeling paint all over the body, but it still has a vintage look and feel. There is no yellowing on the back of the neck, and the paint is only peeling on the first string side from the 15th to the 17th floor. There are some scratches on the hardware, but there are no noticeable signs of use, and there are no operational problems.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten. There are no string marks on the frets and about 50% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, the guitar is in good condition with no major part replacements, although there are some signs of age and use. The solder on the tremolo spring hanger has been tampered with, and it is assumed that the parts have been replaced and enjoyed in various ways in the past. The ash body, which is very rare nowadays, has black parts reminiscent of those days. The weight is 3.5kg, which is light for an ash body of that time, and the sound is very tight. The frets are low, but it is still active as it was in the past! If you use a large head, there is no problem!

Neck condition is fine!
The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjustable.
Only about 50% frets left.
