Fender's The STRAT is now in stock.

The STRAT was born in 1980, and was manufactured for a short period of time until 1983, making it a rare model.
The guitar we have in stock is serialized as a guitar manufactured between 1979 and 1980, but we believe it was probably made in 1980, since it was a model from 1980.

This model was designed by Greg Wilson, who was Fender's head of research and development at the time.
It was developed based on the concept of returning to the original Stratocaster specifications, and was developed as a different model from the Stratocasters of the time.
The small head was adopted like the original model, a complete change from the large head, 3-point neck, and other specification changes that had been made since 1965. The neck joint was also changed to a four-point fastener.
The truss rod has also been changed to the neck end instead of the head top.

While the basic specs are based on the original, the bridge is equipped with a large brass tremolo bridge, and the control knobs and jack plate are unified with the same color, which is unique to the 80s.

As it has been almost 40 years since its manufacture, it has some signs of use, but there is no major damage and it maintains a clean appearance.

It has been checked and overall adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.

1980年に誕生したThe STRAT。製造期間は短く1983年までとなっている同社のレアモデル。
入荷した個体はシリアル上では1979年から1980年にかけて製造されたギターとなっていますが、80年からのモデルの為、恐らくは80年製の個体と思われます。

当時のフェンダーの研究開発責任者だったグレッグ･ウィルソンによって設計されたモデル。
オリジナル仕様のストラトキャスターに還るというコンセプトで開発されており、当時のストラトキャスターとは別のモデルとして開発されています。
それまでのラージヘッド、３点留めネックなどの65年から続いた仕様変更から一転し、オリジナルモデルと同様にスモールヘッドを採用。ネックジョイントも４点留めに。
トラスロッドもヘッドトップではなくネックエンドに変更されるなど、原点回帰とも言えるモデルとなっています。

基本的はスペックはオリジナルを意識しながらもブリッジには大型のブラストレモロブリッジを搭載していたり、コントロールノブやジャックプレートも同一のカラーで統一するなど、80年代らしいこの頃ならではのユニークな仕様となっています。

製造から40年近くが経過している個体の為、使用感はございますが、大きなダメージはなく綺麗な外観を維持しています。

入荷後に専門のリペア担当にてチェック･全体調整を行い、演奏コンディションも良好です。
