SG SG Special made in 1964 is in stock!

This SG SG Special is marked as made in 1964 from Serial: 247573, Pot Date: 13764XX, and although the head angle was drastically changed to about 14 degrees and narrow pitch from 1965, this model has a 17 degree head angle and wide nut, which were popular specifications until 1964.

In addition, this model has the original compensated tailpiece specification, which has a longer sustain than the short vibrato roller.

The condition is also very clean and the red color, which tends to fade, is still intact. As shown in the photo, there is a slight repair and touch-up mark on the heel of the neck, but it has been repaired well, so there is no problem. Of course, the truss rod has plenty of room, and playability is excellent.

All of the assembly including pegs, bridge, knobs, and pickups are original and highly original.

シリアル:247573、Pot Date:13764XXより1964年製と表記しております。65年より約14度のヘッド角、ナローピッチへと大幅変更されますが本機はヘッド角17度、ワイドナットと1964年までの人気の高い仕様の個体です。

さらに本機はオリジナルのコンペンセイテッド・テールピース仕様でショートヴァイブローラーに比べてサスティンが長いのが特徴です。

状態に関しても非常にクリーンな状態でフェイドしがちなレッドカラーもしっかり残っています。写真の通り、ネックヒール部に僅かな補修及びタッチアップ跡がございますがしっかり直されていますので問題はございません。もちろんトラスロッドも余裕があり、プレイアビリティも良好です。

ペグやブリッジ、ノブ、ピックアップ含めアッセンブリーは全てオリジナルで非常にオリジナル度が高いのも見逃せません。

ケースは50sのアリゲーターケース(取っ手破損)となります。ケースに関しては保護という意味ではこのままだと厳しいかと思いますので別途ケースはご用意したほうが安心かと思います。

上記を含めましてもここまで状態の良い個体は近年見られなくなってきております。
