This logo was used very briefly starting around 1966, but the full transition to the CBS logo occurred around 1968. The transition logo is a decal without paint over it, while the CBS logo has lacquer paint applied over it. This guitar has the CBS logo without any paint over it, and there are no signs of a redecal, leading us to believe it is original. This is a very rare specification.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nThe body retains its original Olympic White finish. Combined with the patina, dents, and scratches, it creates a great overall vibe.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nPot Date: Volume: 137-6451, Tone: 304-6545. The large gap here is unlikely, so the Volume pot is probably a replacement. The Preset side shows Tone: XXX-6547×1; the Preset Volume is not visible, but we judge it to be original.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nThe pickups are original Grey Bobbin. The front's date is unreadable, but the rear's 3-18-66 is barely legible. Both are judged to be original.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nAll other electronics are original. The pots exhibit slight crackling, but as they are original parts, they remain unchanged.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nThe original pickguard shows warping due to aging, with overall cracking and distortion, but this is not problematic.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nAs expected for its age, there are scratches, dents, and some minor refinish touch-ups on the upper neck heel. However, the overall originality is relatively high.
