This is a Fernandez/Barney hide signature model MG-80X.

A signature of the well-known X JAPAN guitarist "hide", black body MG model MG-80X with wood grain head and "F" logo, mahogany body, maple neck, 628 scale, rose fingerboard, Vol/PU selector/direct SW, tom bridge & Stop tailpiece is used.

The strap pin has been replaced (strap side hardware is missing), there are some bumps and scratches on the back of the neck due to paint fading at the scarf joint, dents and buckle marks, scratches, picking marks, paint bumps at the binding, color fading and rusting on metal parts, and other signs of use. The fret board has been replaced with a mini SW and the tops of the frets have been adjusted when the instrument was first received. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±90°.

This is a black version of MG shape that many people image with its impressive looks, and it is one that can still be played.

言わずと知れたX JAPANのギタリスト「hide」のシグネイチャー、木目ヘッドに「F」ロゴのブラックボディーMGモデル・MG-80X。マホガニー・ボディ、メイプル・ネック、628スケール、ローズ指板、Vol/PUセレクター/ダイレクトSW、TOMブリッジ＆ストップテイルピース仕様になっています。

ストラップピン交換(ストラップ側金具は欠品)、ネック裏スカーフジョイント部塗装ヤセによる段差、全体的に打痕・バックル痕、引っかきキズ、ピッキング痕、バインディング部塗装段差、金属パーツの色落ちやサビ等、使用感が見られます。入荷時にミニSW交換・フレット頂点すり合わせ済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さで全体的に概ね0.95mm残っています。トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±90°まで動作確認済みです。

印象的なルックスで多くの方のイメージするMGシェイプのブラック仕様、まだまだ弾きこめる一本です。
