Tokai's 8 digit serial SILVER STAR is now in stock.
This is a 1980's model with a large head, a barrette type rod nut, and a 3-point tilt neck, which is reminiscent of the Fender Strat from the mid-1970's. The original die-cast saddle is still in place.
The die-cast integrated saddle is still the original.
The guitar is well made and has a thicker mid-low range sound than the original.
There are some scratches on the body and cracks on the back cover due to aging, but there are no problems with playing the instrument in its current condition.
After receiving this instrument, maintenance was performed by a specialized company.
Cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment have been done.
The frets have been fretted.　There is about 0.8mm left overall.
The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. Operation has been checked up to ±70°.

Tokaiの8桁シリアル SILVER STARが入荷致しました。
こちらは1980年代で ラージヘッドにバレットタイプのロッドナット、3点ティルトネックと70年代半ば以降のフェンダーストラトを意識した仕様。
ダイキャスト一体型のサドルのオリジナルのままでございます。
近年、かの新三大ギタリストの一人のプロフィール写真にも登場した事で海外で一気に高騰したのも記憶にあたらしい所ですが、造りもしっかりとしていおり、本家よりは 日本製特有の中低域の太いサウンドの印象があります。
経年劣化により ボディに傷、裏ぶたの割れはございますが、現状で演奏に支障はございません。
入荷後 専門業者にてメンテナンス実施しました。
クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ 済みです。
フレットすり合わせ済み。　全体的に概ね0.8mm残ってます。
トラスロッドは　締める方向・緩める方向調整可能。±70°まで動作確認済みです。
