For customers residing in Japan
Gibson responded to market demand for an electric version of the L-4C by introducing the laminated-top ES-175 in 1948.
However, the demand for the L-4C continued to grow, and in the late 1950s Gibson produced the L-4 CES in small quantities. This is a 1991 model.

This is the L-4CES made in 1991, with a 16-inch body and the same veneer spruce top as the L5.
This model combines the easy handling of the ES-175 with the mellow resonance of the same veneer spruce as the L-5.
The tailpiece has the same gorgeous specifications as the L-5, and the fingerboard is also made of black ebony.

Currently, the pickguard is distorted, some paint is chipped on the head top, and there are weather checks throughout.
There are some dents and scratches on the buckle, but it is in good playing condition.

* The guitar is in good playing condition with some signs of use such as scratches and dings.

ギブソンはL-4Cのエレクトリック・バージョンを求める市場の声に応えるため、1948年にラミネート・トップのES-175を発表します。
しかしL-4Cを求める声はその後も寄せられ、ギブソンは1950年代後半にL-4 CESを少量生産します。L-4 CESはバリエーションに富み、ピックアップだけを見ても「Charlie Christian」「Alnico」「Humbucker」などを搭載したモデルが登場しました。

こちらは1991年製、16インチボディにL5と同じ単板スプルーストップを使用したL-4CES。
ES-175の扱いやすさに、L-5と同じ単板スプルースによるまろやかな響きを持ち合わせたモデルです。
テールピースにはL-5と同様の豪華な仕様となっており、指板にも黒々としたエボニーを使用してます。

現状、ピックガードの歪み、ヘッドトップに一部塗装欠け、全体渡ってウェザーチェックが入っております。
打痕やバックル傷といった使用感もありますが演奏上問題ないコンディションとなっております。
