The Howard Roberts model, which pioneered a new dimension of the jazz guitar as a musician and guitar designer.

The semi-hollow maple body features a deep cutaway. It also features a finger tailpiece with individually adjustable string tension.
490R/490T pickups are mounted. The bridge is Nashville type and equipped with Gibson original pegs.
The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is made of ebony with good rise. The sound is impressive with a good hollow feel and a contoured sound.

Currently, it has been refretted/re-nutted, and there are some signs of use and aging such as picking scuffs, paint cracks, and thinning of the neck binding, but it is still in good condition considering its age.

* Good playing condition with some signs of use such as scratches and dings, but still in good playing condition.

ミュージシャンならびにギター・デザイナーとしてジャズ・ギターの新たな次元を切り拓いたハワード・ロバーツモデル。

セミホロウ構造のメイプルボディでディープカッタウェイ採用。さらに弦のテンションを個別に調節できるフィンガーズテールピースが特徴的です。
ピックアップには490R/490Tをマウント。ブリッジはナッシュビルタイプで、Gibsonオリジナルのペグを搭載。
ネックはメイプルを採用し、指板には立ち上がりの良いエボニーを使用。程よいホロー感を持ち合わせながらも輪郭のあるサウンドが印象的です。

現状、リフレット/リナットが施されているのと、ピッキングのスレや塗装のクラック、ネックバインディング痩せといった使用感と経年劣化がありますが、年代を考慮すると良いコンディションをキープしてます。

* 傷、打痕の使用感はあるが演奏上のコンディションは良好。
