Saito Guitars has a workshop in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.

In 2015, Saito Guitars introduced its first solid model, the "S Series," with an impressive, simple design that pursues "functional beauty" and "playability.

The S-622 (Solid 6string 22F) is a representative model of Saito guitars that combines modern and classic styles with an archtop ST-type body.
This model is chosen by many musicians not only for use in a band but also as working gear.

The scale length is 648mm long like Fender's, the fingerboard radius is a modern 10-12" compound, and the frets are made of Jescar nickel silver.

The two-piece alder body in "Royal Blue," a bright yet subdued color with a deep blue "Royal Blue" color that allows the grain to shine through, is finished with a thin matte (satin) urethane finish that is both easy to maintain and resonant.
The joint plate is made of the original 5mm-thick aluminum, and a bolt joint with a nut embedded in the neck side is used for the joint screw instead of the usual wood screws.

The hard maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard have a distinctive design with the first-string fingerboard edge extending into the head to prevent head torsion that can occur after years of use.
The neck shape has a slightly thicker grip for a firm and comfortable grip, but with a pleasant finish and joints, the neck boasts exquisite feel and high playability, from low-fretted chord playing to high-fretted technical playing.

Hardware is entirely made by Gotoh. Cruson-type trim-lock pegs and a two-point vented saddle tremolo support stable tuning and pitch performance.

Pickups are a Growl front/center and a Bore Up on the rear. Controls consist of the standard 5-way lever switch PU select, master volume, front and center tones, and rear tone. The rear tone can be coil-tapped with the Push-Push switch.

The sound is impressive first of all for its "sharpness" and "quick startup. The "speed" directly connected to the high-precision construction, which is a characteristic of "Saito Guitars," stimulates the senses.

The bright and muscular single coil has a rear hum with a sense of bite. The tone is clean and organized with no unnecessary low frequencies, making it easy to create a sound, and the sound is well balanced between PUs, making it suitable for a wide range of music from roots music to modern pop/rock with a single unit.

The low action and comfortable playability that comes from the high-precision processing and setup are a must experience.
