This is a combination of a hi-hat with a top that appears to be from the 3C period (1956-57) and a bottom that appears to be from the 4B period (1959), based on the engraving.

The top weighs 938g and the bottom 1414g, which is a very usable and well-balanced combination, although it is not thought to be the original combination.

The top has no cracks or chips, and is in good condition and clean for its age, but unfortunately the bottom has a crack in the center hole and a rather large chip.

Fortunately, the bottom is thicker than the rest, so it has little effect on the sound. The sound has a dark resonance with heavy overtones typical of Old K, but it also has a solid core and fat sound.

The bottom of the hat is not easily repairable, so we are selling it as-is without any special treatment.
There is a possibility of cracks spreading in the long run, but we are selling this 15" set as a pair with the highest priority given to the current sound.
The sound has the character of old K, and has a unique presence!

刻印よりトップが3C期(1956-57)、ボトムが4B期(1959)と思われるハイハットの組み合わせです。

元からの組み合わせではないと思われますが、トップが938g、ボトムが1414gと非常に使いやすいバランスの組み合わせです。

トップは割れ、欠け等のダメージも無く、年式の割に綺麗で良いコンディションですが、ボトムが残念ながらセンターホールのクラック、割と大き目な欠けが見られます。

幸い厚いボトムの方ですので、サウンドへの影響もほとんどなく、オールドKらしい重厚な倍音でダークな響きを持ちつつも、シッカリ芯の通った太さのあるサウンドは流石と言ったところです。

リペアしにくい箇所で、ハットのボトムと言う事もあり、特に何の処置も施さず現状販売としております。
長期的にみると割れ広がる可能性はございますが、現状のサウンド最優先でのペア売りの15インチセットです。
音色はオールドKの風格漂う、唯一無二の存在感です！
