This is a made-to-order model MG-340X by Fernandez/Barney.

Legendary guitarist hide, longtime supporter of X JAPAN (X), and his trademark MG, the MG-340X is a limited-edition, made-to-order, signature model MG-340X. This guitar faithfully reproduces the materials and specifications of the guitar made at hide's own request. Maple top/Honduras mahogany back, through neck construction, 24-fret rose fingerboard, CD-100F & VH-401 PUs, sustainer with Vol/3-way toggle SW, rear PU direct SW, sustainer ON/OFF-SW, sustainer MODE switching SW Sustainer Vol control.

Overall, there are some signs of use (scratches on the body edge, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, paint fading along the wood grain, fogging, color fading, discoloration on metal parts, etc.). The fret board is high enough to play well, and there is approximately 1.00mm of fret board left overall. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±90°.

The heel part has been modified and a rear direct switch has been added for instantaneous switching and kill switch technique on stage, which shows Hide's strong attention to detail.

X JAPAN(X)を長きに渡り支えた伝説的なギタリストhide、彼のトレードマークであるMGの受注生産の限定品、シグネイチャーモデルの「MG-340X」です。hide本人のリクエストにより製作したギターのマテリアル、スペックを忠実に再現したギターです。メイプル・トップ/ホンジュラスマホガニー・バック、スルーネック構造、24フレットのローズ指板、PUはCD-100F＆VH-401、サスティナー搭載でVol/3WayトグルSW、リアPUダイレクトSW、サスティナーON/OFF-SW、サスティナーMODE切替SW、サスティナーVolコントロールになっています。

全体的に使用感(ボディエッジに当てキズ、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、木目に沿った塗装ヤセ、金属パーツの曇り・色落ち・変色、等々)が見られます。フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、全体的に概ね1.00mm残っています。トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±90°まで動作確認済みです。

hide本人の強いこだわりが垣間見える、ヒール部分の加工やリアダイレクトスイッチによってステージでの瞬時の切り替えやキルスイッチ奏法に対応したhideファンにとって憧れの一本です。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
