This is a Yamaha Compass Series CPX-15, developed based on the concept of "an electric acoustic guitar that outputs the sound of an acoustic guitar itself" with a 2-way pickup consisting of a condenser mic and piezo pickup.

CPX cutaway shape with veneer spruce top, Indian rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fretboard and bridge, 650mm scale/43mm nut, adjustable saddle, SYSTEM-41 preamp, and impressive ocean-inspired inlays in various parts The preamplifier is SYSTEM-41, and each part is decorated with impressive sea-inspired inlays.

This is a top-of-the-line model of the Compass series at that time, featuring realistic sound for recording and live performance.

Overall, there are some signs of use (white spots on the head top and around the body, scratches and scuffs on the top and outer surface, shine on the back of the neck from playing, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts and screws are cloudy and slightly rusted, etc.).

The peg screw holes have been corrected, the high position cell peeling has been corrected, the fret board has been lifted, and the frets have been adjusted when the guitar arrived. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±90°.

There are quite a few scratches, stains, and other signs of use, but there are no problems with operation.

CPXカッタウェイシェイプの単板スプルース・トップ、インドローズ・サイド＆バック、マホガニー・ネック、インドローズ指板＆ブリッジ、650mmスケール/43mmナット、アジャスタブル・サドル、プリアンプはSYSTEM-41、各部に海をイメージした印象的なインレイが施されています。

当時のコンパスシリーズ・最上位モデル、レコーディングやライブでのリアルサウンドが特徴の一本です。

全体的に使用感(ヘッドトップやボディ周り白濁、トップや外周に当てキズ・引っかきキズ、ネック裏弾き込みによるツヤ、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツ/ネジ類の曇り・小サビ、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にペグネジ穴修正・ハイポジションセル剥がれ修正・フレット浮き修正・フレットすり合わせ済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、全体的に概ね1.00mm残っています。トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±90°まで動作確認済みです。

かなり傷や汚れなど使用感はありますが、動作に問題はありません。
