This is an original single cutaway model EC-401 with active specification by LTD, an overseas brand of ESP, which has ESP, Navigator, and Edwords.

It has a mahogany body with back contour, Thin U-shaped 3P mahogany neck, 42mm nut, medium scale Rose fretboard with 24 frets, and EMG 60 & EMG 81 PUs.

This model is rarely distributed in Japan, and the original design body with EMG and 24-fret specs suits a heavier sound.

The strap pin has been replaced with a JD type (no hardware on the strap side), and there are some signs of use (scratches, polishing marks, picking marks, metal parts/screws are cloudy, etc.).

The fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod is adjustable for tightening and loosening up to ±60°.

ESP・Navigator・Edwordsを擁するESPの海外展開ブランド・LTDのオリジナル・シングルカッタウェイ・モデル、アクティブ仕様のEC-401です。

バックコンターが施されたマホガニー・ボディ、Thin Uシェイプの3Pマホガニー・ネック、42mmナット、ミディアムスケールのローズ指板24フレット、PUはEMG 60＆EMG 81を搭載しています。

国内では流通の少ないモデル、オリジナルデザインのボディにEMG搭載・24フレット仕様でへヴィなサウンドが似合う一本です。

ストラップピンをJDタイプに交換(ストラップ側金具なし)、若干の使用感(スレや磨きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツ/ネジ類の曇り、等々)が見られます。

フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

かなり傷や汚れなど使用感はありますが、動作に問題はありません。
