This is Taylor's K-20-C, a Venetian cutaway model with beautiful figured koa.

This raw acoustic model was made in 1998, the starting year of the Taylor Koa series. Hawaiian Koa top/sides/back, mahogany neck, ebony headplate/fingerboard/bridge, scalloped X bracing, 25.5" scale/43.7mm nut, Avalon inlays, gold GROVER pegs, tortoiseshell pattern on fingerboard and body perimeter Tortoiseshell binding is applied on the fingerboard and outer body.

This is a raw acoustic model with beautiful figured koa looks and clear, clear tone, recommended for fingerpickers.

Some signs of use (minor scratches around the head, scuffs and scuffs, picking marks, fogging of metal parts/screws, etc.).
There is a strap pin installed on the heel of the neck. (Currently, the strap pin is not installed and the dowel has been filled in.) The nut and saddle have been replaced. Also, there are signs that pickups were retrofitted in the past (bridge plate hole, wiring material stopper, etc.), but the guitar is currently in its original specification without pickups.

The truss rod cover screw holes that were spinning when we received the guitar have been fixed, the fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60°. There are strap pins on the heel of the neck. (Currently, the strap pin is not installed, and the dowel has been filled in.)

Taylor・Koaシリーズのスタート年にあたる1998年製の生アコースティック・モデル。ハワイアン・コア・トップ/サイド/バック、マホガニー・ネック、エボニー・ヘッドプレート/指板/ブリッジ、スキャロップドXブレーシング、25.5インチスケール/43.7mmナット、アヴァロンインレイ、ゴールドGROVERペグ、指板とボディ外周にはべっ甲柄バインディングが施されています。

美しいフィギュアドコアによるルックスと透き通るような明瞭なトーンが特徴の生アコースティック・モデル、フィンガーピッカーの方にもオススメです。

若干の使用感(ヘッド周り小キズ、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツ/ネジ類の曇り、等々)が見られます。
Neckヒール部にストラップピン増設痕あり。(現在はストラップピンは装着されておらず、ダボ埋めされています)ナット・サドルは交換されています。また、過去にピックアップを後付した形跡(ブリッジプレート穴開き、配線材止め具あり等)がございますが、現在は元々のピックアップなし仕様になっています。

入荷時に空回りしていたトラスロッドカバーのビス穴修正済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。Neckヒール部にストラップピン増設痕あり。(現在はストラップピンは装着されておらず、ダボ埋めされています)
