The premium European birch used in Sonar's top model, the SQ2 series, is used as the shell material for the SQ1 series snare drums.
The SQ1 series snare drums embody the most "balanced sound" by using premium European birch as the shell material.

The shell thickness is 7ply 7mm, and the bearing edge is 45°. The quick rise of the sound, combined with the fatness from the 6.5" depth, gives a powerful and sharp sound typical of Sonar.

The strainer is equipped with a "Dual Glide System" that allows one-touch attachment of the snappers without disconnecting the snappy cord by pushing and pulling the switches on the left and right sides of the bottom of the main body.

There are some minor scratches on the parts, but it is still in good condition.
