Greco's BG-CUSTOM (Made in Japan) is a medium scale model that follows the body form and head design of the historic Bg. series, which was released in 1979 and launched in 1980.

Alder body with a back cut and elbow cut with a larger R of the body edge, maple neck with a non-reverse 14-degree angled head, 305R rose fingerboard, 628mm scale/42mm nut, and PU are all in the BG-800 style, which is a 5% smaller version of the BG-1400. Nut, BG-CUSTOM-S x 3 PUs, Vol/2Tone/5-way selector, and G-CTM-J-BR bridge tremolo unit.

While based on the design of 1980, when it was used by many artists, it is a highly versatile instrument with specifications such as a non-reverse head and bolt-on joint, and a characteristic pickup layout in which the center pickup is placed closer to the rear.

It shows some signs of use (scratches, minor scuffs, picking marks on the pickguard film, fogging of metal parts, etc.).

It has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be adjusted to +/- 60 degrees.

The truss rod is adjustable to tighten or loosen, and its operation has been checked to ±60°. There are some scratches, but it is still in beautiful condition.

「BG-1400」を5％縮小させた「BG-800」スタイルでボディ・エッジのRを大きめにバック・カットとエルボー・カットを採り入れたアルダー・ボディ、メイプル・ネックはノンリバースで14度のアングルヘッド、305Rのローズ指板、628mmスケール/42mmナット、PUはBG-CUSTOM-S×3、Vol/2Tone/5Wayセレクター、トレモロユニットはG-CTM-J-BRブリッジを搭載しています。

多くのアーティストに愛用された1980年当時のデザインを基調にしながらノンリバースヘッドやボルト・オン・ジョイントといった仕様、センター・ピックアップをリア寄りに設置する特徴的なピックアップ・レイアウト等、汎用性の高い一本です。

若干の使用感(スレや小キズ、ピックガードフィルムにピッキング痕、金属パーツの曇り、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

若干の傷などはありますが、綺麗な状態を保っています。
