This is a Rickenbacker John Lennon 355JL/12, made in 1990.

Limited edition of 2,000 in total with 355JL from 1990 to 1994, 355JL/12 has a small size hollow body, 21F24 3/4" medium scale, through neck construction, neatly arranged pegs, 3 toaster top PUs, and a pickguard with This model has the signature printed on the pickguard.

This is a 12-string version of the impressive "Model 355," which was John's good buddy and was later used with natural finish and Bigsby, and is an essential item for the Liverpool sound with a sparkling tone that can be recognized at first hearing.

Overall, there are some signs of use (paint cracks at the joints and around the front PU, color fading on the printed pickguard, dents around the head, body perimeter and edges, scratches and ring marks on the back of the neck, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts and screws are cloudy and rusted, etc.). The instrument is in good condition.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) when it was first received. The fretboard is originally low, but the fretboard is high enough to play well.

The truss rod is adjustable to tighten and loosen up to ±60°. There are some scratches and stains, but there are no operational problems.

1990年から94年にかけて、355JLと合計で2000本限定生産された355JL/12。スモールサイズのホローボディに、21F24 3/4インチ・ミディアムスケール、スルーネック構造、整然と配置されたペグ、トースタートップPUを3発搭載し、ピックガードにシグネイチャーがプリントされたモデルです。

後にナチュラルフィニッシュ/ビグスビー搭載で愛用され、ジョンの良き相棒だった印象的な「Model 355」の12弦バージョン、一聴で判別できる煌びやかなトーン、リバプールサウンドには欠かせないアイテムです。

全体的に使用感(ジョイント部やフロントPU周りに塗装クラック、プリントピックガードの色ヤケ、ヘッド周り・ボディ外周やエッジ部に打痕、ネック裏キズ・指輪痕、スレや拭きスジ、ひっかきキズ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇りやサビ、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、元来低めのフレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

かなり傷や汚れなど使用感はありますが、動作に問題はありません。
