Fender Japan Stratocaster ST72-55 (CST-50), made by Fujigen in 1984-1987.

This is a 70s style ST72 with 1972 style large head, modern logo, 3-point stop joint, and die-cast saddle bridge piece. Neck: CST-50M/Body: ST-50 stamp is available. Basswood body, maple 1P neck, 648mm (25.5") scale/184mm (7.25") R/42.69mm nut, "Fender Japan" stamped rotomatic pegs.

The PU and electrical system have been replaced, giving this 70s style model a stately and impressive look with a crisp and clear sound.

The arms are non-original, front and rear are replaced with Seymour Duncan/center is replaced with Vanzandt (all model numbers are unknown), the electric parts are replaced, the nut is replaced, and the groove is cut narrower (the high position on the 1st string side has room to the end of the fingerboard, and the high position on the 6th string side has a narrow groove on the fingerboard. The 3-point joint allows the neck to move easily from side to side. It shows signs of use (color burn, overall paint cracks, dents around the perimeter, head and neck, paint peeling around the fretboard, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, buckle marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is slightly low but still high enough for playing.
