The SG Special is the signature model of Tony Iommi, a key member of Black Sabbath who has left behind many great performances since his debut in 1970.

Based on the 1964 SG Special "Monkey", this model has a mahogany body, mahogany neck, laurel fingerboard, 22 frets, 2 Epiphone PRO P-90x2 PUs, Badass-style up-around bridge, and a C-70. Up-around bridge, CTS pot/orange drop capacitor, "Monkey" sticker included.

This guitar has the signature tone of Tony Iommi, the rare heavy riff maker who captivated many listeners.

It shows some signs of use (scratches and play marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, fogging of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough for playing.

* The truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening and loosening direction, and its operation has been confirmed to be ±60°.
* Please note that this is a used item and there are scratches, dents, etc. from use that may not show up in the photos. Please understand this in advance.

1964 SG Special“Monkey” を基にしたモデルで、マホガニー・ボディ、マホガニー・ネック、ローレル指板、22フレット、PUはEpiphone PRO P-90ｘ2、バダス・スタイルのアップアラウンド・ブリッジ、CTS製のポット/オレンジドロップ・キャパシター、付属品に“Monkey”ステッカーが付属します。

稀代のへヴィ・リフメーカーであるトニー・アイオミ、多くのリスナーを虜にしたシグネチャー・トーンが魅力の一本です。

若干の使用感(スレや弾きキズ、ピックガードフィルムにピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
