Silky Trumpet S42L J.F. GP John Faddis Model Gold Finish
Serial No. 35230, tube weight 1128 grams.

Yellow brass bell, gold plated, M bore, tuning bell, round type main tuning slide (without water key).
Artist model with adjustable sound post, heavy valve cap, and no nib on the second extractor tube.
The piston casing is in good condition with no noticeable dents or marks, although some parts of the piston casing and other parts have slightly faded plating.
It is a Silky model with a distinct character, and has a good sound with a good rise to the breath and a nice, lustrous sound that is not too sharp.
Repair details: disassembly and cleaning, replacement of 3 piston felts, adjustment of extractor tube, re-lubrication with oil and grease.

Item rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problem in normal use.

アジャスタブルサウンドポスト、ヘビーバルブキャップを装備し、第２抜差管のニブ無しのアーティストモデル。
ピストンケーシングの一部などややメッキの薄くなっているところはありますが目立つ凹みや修正跡はなく良いコンディションです。
シルキーの中では個性のはっきりしたモデルで息に対する音の立ち上がりが良く、鋭すぎない艶のある良い音が出ます。
修理内容:分解洗浄、ピストンフェルト3ヵ所交換、抜差し管調整、オイル・グリス再注油
