This is the signature model that Steve himself named "PIA: Paradise in Art", positioning it as "the evolution of the JEM".
The body is made of alder wood like the JEM, but with a new body design that includes body edges, contours, and horns.
The symbolic "Petal Grip" was designed to resemble petals nestled together.
The grip design of the PIA is most recognizable for its two petals nestled together.
Steve sees this as a visual representation of the synergy of two things coming together, and at the same time, an important symbol of unity, friendship, and solidarity between people.

The "PIA Blossom inlay" is a new inlay designed exclusively for PIA, based on the beautiful and flowing botanical design image often seen in Steve's own artwork, not to mention the tree of life inlay that was a trademark of JEM.
The fingerboard is made of rosewood, and the side position marks are made of luminous Luminlay.

USA-made DiMarzio(R) UtoPIA(TM) pickups" were designed for the PIA.
Based on Steve's recent tonal preferences, these pickups are specially designed for smoother highs, scooped mids, and defined lows.
All pickup covers are beautifully decorated to perfectly match the guitar's design concept.
Equipped with a high pass filter (operated by pushing and pulling the volume knob).
Edge tremolo bridge
The original Ibanez Edge tremolo has been Steve's favorite for over 30 years.
In addition to the good approach to the saddle positioning bolt, the Lion's Crow cavity processing, which is a design feature, is adopted as in the JEM.
