2012 Custom Shop-made, modern-style Custom Deluxe Tele in stock!

This is a "Custom Deluxe Tele" designed for heavy Telecas players. The body is carefully selected Alder with 2pcs center. Although it is a modern style, the lacquer finish is a point not to be overlooked. The neck is made of flamed maple on the thin string side and bird's eye maple on the first string side. The neck shape is an extra thick, 52-style U-shape. It is possible to change from the well-known Custom Shop Black Guard specification as well as from the Custom Shop grade LP without any sense of discomfort. Fretboard surface is 9.5", fretboard is 22F with 6105 size modern feel, PU has DC resistance value of about 5.5k for front and 9.5k for rear, and it seems to be Twisted Tele for front and Hot Nocaster for rear since there is no history of replacement. Each piece of hardware has a Mondaine-style six-string style saddle, a flat bridge plate, and locking pegs, which has solved a long-standing problem for heavy Telecaster players.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dings. The pickguard has a fine feel and picking scratches. There is a sesame-sized ding on the lower left side of the top of the body, and the body has some fine lame on it. However, it is only visible when you shine a light on it and look closely, so please do not be concerned about it. There are also some large and small dents on the lower edge of the top of the body. There are some faint stand burn marks on the body end and a few sesame-sized dents on the lower left side edge of the body. The upper right side of the body is also dotted with small dents. There are some small dents on the outer edge of the body back. All hardware is in good condition with little signs of use.

The neck is in good condition. The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. The frets are about 90% full with no noticeable string marks. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string at the 12th fret and about 1.5mm on the 1st string.

There are some small dents scattered throughout, but they are not unnatural and are in good condition considering the age of the instrument. The fret is not worn out and there is little damage to the neck and body back. 2012 Custom Deluxe is often distributed with a quilt top ash back body and hand wound PU with Abigail. This one is not so glaring, but it is a modern upgraded Telecas with the workhorse feel that Telecas originally had.

Neck condition is fine.
The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned in the direction to tighten.
Fret remainder about 90%.

こちらはヘビーなテレキャスプレイヤーの為にデザインされた『Custom Deluxe Tele』。ボディはセンター2pcsの厳選されたアルダー。モダンスタイルながらもラッカーフィニッシュを採用している点は見逃せないポイントです。ネックは薄らと弦側はフレイム、1弦側はバーズアイのメイプルでカスタムショップ製らしい高級感を演出。ネックシェイプはまさかの極太、52スタイルのUシェイプ。お馴染みのカスタムショップのブラックガード仕様からは勿論、カスタムショップグレードのLPからの持ち替えが違和感なく可能です。指板面は9.5インチ、フレットは22F仕様で6105サイズのモダンフィール。PUは直流抵抗値がフロントが約5.5k、リアが約9.5kとなっており、交換の履歴がない為フロントがTwisted Tele、リアがHot Nocasterと思われます。各ハードウェアにはモンダンスタイルだけあって、6連スタイルサドル、ブリッジプレートもフラットなタイプ、ロックタイプのペグとなっており、ヘヴィーテレキャスプレイヤーにとっての長年の悩みをクリアしております。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、線キズ、打痕があります。ピックガードには細かい感じでピッキングキズがあります。ボディトップ左下部分にはゴマ粒大の打痕があり、ボディには所々薄らですが細かいラメが付着しております。但し光を当ててよく見るとわかる程度なんで気にしないでください。またボディトップ下部エッジ部分にも薄らですが大小打痕があります。ボディエンドサイド部分にはほんの薄らですがスタンド焼け痕があり、ボディ左下サイドエッジ部分にはゴマ粒大の打痕が点々とあります。ボディ右上サイド部分にも小さな打痕が点々とあります。ボディバック外周エッジ部分には所々小さな打痕があります。各ハードウェアには使用感は少なく良好な状態です。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには目立つ弦跡等は無く残りは9割程度です。現状弦高は12フレット6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的には小さな打痕が点在しておりますが、不自然な感じではなく年式を考えると良好なコンディションです。フレットの減りがなく、ネック周りやボディバックへのダメージが少ない事から使用感は少ないと思われます。2012年のカスタムデラックスといえば、キルトトップアッシュバックボディ＆アビゲイルによるハンドワウンドPU搭載モデルが多く流通。こちらはそこまでギラギラした感じはないですが、本来テレキャスの持つワークホース感はそのままに現代的にアップグレードされた、是非とも眺めるだけでなく、ガンガン弾いて頂きたい一本です!
