1979, Japan Vintage & Rare 2700 in stock!

Body is maple with ash on side & back. The neck is made of maple and walnut 7ply through neck. The neck shape is not peculiar and has a C-shape feel. The scale is 24 3/4", the fingerboard surface is ebony with jumbo frets, and the PU is an original Super 88. Controls include Master Vol, Boost Level, 3-band EQ, Tri Sound Switch to switch between series, parallel, and phase out for each PU, and Boo On/Off. At first glance, it looks difficult, but when you touch it, it is easy to understand and not difficult. The Gibraltar bridge, Sure Grip knobs, and the nut with a mix of brass give it an Ibanez feel.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents. There are some picking scratches on the right side between both PUs, which are cloudy and fine. There is a small ding on the lower left side of the tailpiece and a light line scratch on the side of the tailpiece. There is also a rice grain sized ding on the lower right edge of the body. There are scratches and small dents on the bottom of the body by the strap pins. There is a buckle scratch on the upper center of the body back and a ding with a paint crack on the lower right part of the body back. There are large and small dents all around the perimeter of the body back. There are small and large dents on the back of the neck in the low position, but they are not deep and do not affect the playing. There is also a paint crack on the back of the nut in the volute area, but this does not affect the neck. There are large and small dents all around the periphery of the head. The bridge has some signs of use and deterioration of the plating, but is in good working order. Other hardware has some signs of use and deterioration, but is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no string marks on the frets and about 60-70% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, there are some dents around the head and the bridge shows signs of use, but there is no noticeable damage on the top, which is the face of the instrument, and it is in good condition considering its age. This is a Japanese vintage guitar with the originality of Ibanez, while showing the influence of Company A that dominated the world at that time. The sound is dense and diverse as it was in those days. This is a perfect instrument for nostalgia and for your collection!

Neck condition is fine.
The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned in the direction to tighten and adjust.
Fret remainder about 60-70%.

Tri Sound Switch、Boo On/Offとなっております。一見すると難しそうですが触ると分かりやすく難しくないですよ。ジブラルタルブリッジやシュアグリップ仕様のノブ等、ブラスをミックスさせたナット等アイバニーズらしさも十分に感じさせてくれます。
