USED Mosrite / 63 Style Black [10]

Set neck spec top grade, '63 style Mosrite in stock!

Judging from the logo on the back of the head, it was made by Black Cloud. The grade on the fretboard surface and the handwritten "Royal" label on the back of the pickups suggest it is probably a "Royal '63".
The body is standard basswood. Beautiful German curve and binding are applied on the outer circumference, which gives it a top grade, high-class appearance. The finish is also lacquer. The neck is maple with a set neck, a characteristic of the '63 specification. The nut width is approximately 39mm, which is a great feature that gives the guitar a mozzleite feel despite its slimness. It is also equipped with "Vibramute," which has a delicate touch feel, and has a side jack specification as in the '63 specification.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents. The pickguard has some minor picking scratches. The left side of the rear PU is dotted with large and small dents, and there is a toe-shaped scratch on the lower left side of the body. There are also some sesamoidal dings scattered on the lower left edge of the body top. There are also some small dents on the top 6-string side horn. The lower left side of the body is dotted with small and large dings, and the lower right side of the body has some light line scratches. The back of the body has buckle scratches, dings, and scuffs, although they are not deeply noticeable. There are scratches on the back of the neck from the 6th to 9th floor on the bass string side, but they are not deep and do not affect the playing. On the top of the head, there is a clip tuner mark on the tip of the head, and there are scratches and scuffs on the tips of the strings. The fingerboard finish on the first string side by the nut is a little wild, but it is a 0-fret spec, so don't worry about it too much. There is a mark on the front PU under the 1st and 6th strings where a string was placed. There are some scratches on the hardware, but they do not affect the operation of the instrument.

The neck is in good condition. The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no string marks on the frets and about 50-60% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

There are some dents and signs of use overall, but these are due to the coloring of the instrument. These are commensurate with the age of the instrument and do not ruin its atmosphere. The date of purchase is 2011, which does not prove this, but it is a reference. The frets are low to begin with, which combined with the play feel that is not on the high street, does not bother me too much. The slim nut width, thinly finished neck, low frets, etc. may make first-time players feel 'hmmm,' but this is Mozzrite. The clean, characterful drive sound is too good to be limited to surf music, and it fits perfectly with 90s-style alternative sounds. I personally like the attitude of using this guitar with it. This is a must have for the sharp young player!
