For customers residing in Japan
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a GIBSON J-160E, made in 2002!
This is a limited production John Lenon style Peace Model, the 72nd of 750 made.
John Lennon is famous for having stripped the color of his Casino, and this J-160E is also in the natural color that he stripped after coloring it.
The wood materials are citrus spruce for the top, mahogany for the sides and back and neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge.
The neck shape is not peculiar, and it seems to be easy to grip for everyone.
The frets are wider and taller than those of other acoustic guitars, and the guitar has high playability.
The head is embedded with a crown inlay and the fingerboard is engraved with a trapezoid inlay. This fingerboard inlay is similar to that of GIBSON Les Pauls. The guitar is not only equipped with pickups, but also visually incorporates parts of electric guitars, which is a very nice touch. It is not only the fingerboard inlay. Acoustic guitars usually have a 14th fret connection, but this connection is also made with a 15th fret connection to match the Les Paul.
The peg machine is equipped with a keystone knob, Cruson type.
Although this is a small detail, the knobs on the pegs and rod covers are tightened with flat head screws.
As you can see when you look inside the body, the pickups are also grounded behind the body top.
The round shoulder body, ladder bracing, and adjustable saddle give this model a unique raw sound.

There are some scratches, weather checks on the top of the body, and some weather checks on the back of the body, but the only dents that can be easily seen are 10mm x 1mm on the bottom of the body top. Of course, there are no cracks in the wood.
The neck is in good condition and can be adjusted with the truss rod.
The string height has been set at 2.5mm on the 6th string and 2.0mm on the 1st string at 12F, and the saddle height is 4.2mm on the 6th string and 5.2mm on the 1st string, leaving plenty of room for adjustment.
There are no noticeable dents or string marks on the frets.
The metal part of the pegs, which is the hardware, is dull, but the tuners can be used without any problems.
The genuine hard case is also included, which has a more luxurious exterior than the usual hard case.
It is a valuable instrument that can be used not only as a partner for live performances and recording, but also just by placing it in a room or decorating a wall.

Neck condition is fine.
The truss rod can be tightened or loosened in both directions.
Only 80-90% of frets left.
