1990 Amevin 57ST in stock with PU replacement and other used features!

It features an alder body, maple neck, V-shape neck, vintage-style slender frets, and a 7.25" radius fingerboard. The frets have been replaced here and are a little thicker. The front and center PUs have been replaced with Duncan SSL-1s, and the rear position with a Duncan SHR-1b. The Vol pot has been replaced, as has the Vol knob. The center Tone pot has been removed and replaced with a rear PU coil tap switch (less clicky). All bridge saddles have been replaced with Gotoh bridge saddles, and the strap pins have been replaced with Schaller locking type, and the strap side is missing. The lower right tip of the pickguard is cracked and has been repaired by gluing. The pickguard is also distorted as is common, but there are no current problems. The pegs have been replaced with Gotoh locking type pegs, and there is a crack on the side of the 6th string peg attachment screw that has been glued and repaired. The other pegs also have similar symptoms, and the deep ones have been repaired with adhesives as well. I removed the pegs and applied force, but there is no feeling of spreading. Also, the back panel is missing. The neck and body date is difficult to read, and based on the original pot date, we have determined that it was made in 1990.

The body has some paint peeling, dings, and aging marks put in by a cutter. The pickguard has picking scratches all over, a line scratch on the side of the 6th string of the rear PU, and a crack on the selector SW mount screw. There is some hand-aged aging that was put in with a cutter throughout the body. You have done your best. There is a fine picking scratch on the 6th string side of the front PU, and there is a large and small peeling of the overall guise on the outside part of the body. The upper right and lower right parts of the body side have paint reactions from the hard case interior. The body back joint plate is bent due to tightening. The paint around the plate is peeling, but this is a common symptom. There are long paint cracks on both sides of the neck joint. There are fingernail marks and scratches on the back of the neck. There are paint peeling and dents around the head. The fingerboard surface was refinished when the frets were replaced, and there is some clear peeling on the second fret side and the last fret. Original parts and hardware that have not been replaced have deteriorated plating and signs of use.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no string marks on the frets and about 60% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some signs of use, head crack repair, parts replacement, aging process, etc. The frets may be a little low, but the playability is solid. The neck condition of many Amevins was poor, but this one has no problems and is still in good condition. The aging of the guitar is also quite dignified, so you can install your favorite PU and parts on it and enjoy it, or even better if this specification fits you perfectly!
