For customers residing in Japan
The TL72-55M is one of Fender Japan's most popular "E Serial" models.
This model is the successor to the famous Squier CTL-50 from the JV and A-serial eras, and features a classic combination of ash body and maple neck.
The most notable feature is the "red bobbin" pickup on the rear pickup. It is also known as a "Fullerton pickup" and is a rare part that was used in a small number of early JV models. It is now highly regarded because of its unique tone and the small number of units equipped with it.
Usually, Fender Japan pickups are standardized with USA-made black bobbins after mid-1983, but red bobbins are used in rare cases, and this pickup is one of those rare cases.

The midrange has a vintage-like deadness, and the ash body provides a good attack and extended sustain.
Neck date 10-4 85.
The pots have been replaced with ALPHA.
There are paint cracks in several places on the body, exposing some wood.
There are some scratches, dings, and metal rust, but there are no other notable blemishes other than the above.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
Item Rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.
