Origin Effects' flagship compressor for bass designed based on the 1176 series FET compressor.
It is a masterpiece that combines studio-class texture and fatness of the original sound to deliver professional-quality compression at your feet.

The side-chain HPF is tuned for easy handling of the bass band, the DRY blend allows natural mixing of the original sound, and the Ratio, Attack, Release, In, and Out controls are fully fledged, allowing detailed adjustment beyond the realm of a compact pedal. The model is highly regarded as an enhancer-like "sound-enhancing comp," with a coherent attack, stable sound pressure, and wide range, while maintaining the same low-frequency push.

The low-noise design with discrete Class-A circuitry can be used for a wide range of applications, from deep application to natural sound conditioning. It combines the high quality reminiscent of a studio 1176 with ease of handling for both live and recording use.
