The AZ series was created with everything Ibanez has cultivated from "A to Z". The DNA of Ibanez's guitar making is evident in the design, color, and design of each part of the guitar, where modern and classical elements are interwoven to achieve the elements required by modern players.

S-TECH WOOD loated maple neck with Luminlay luminescent fingerboard side markers, Hyperion pickups developed in collaboration with Seymour Duncan, and 9 different sound variations. The dyna-MIX 9 switching system, which offers nine different sound variations, was adopted.

S-TECH WOOD(エステック・ウッド)ローステッド・メイプルネックにLuminlay製の蓄光指板サイドマーカーが埋め込まれており、セイモア・ダンカンと共同開発したHyperion(ハイペリオン)ピックアップを搭載。9通りのサウンド・バリエーションを実現するdyna-MIX 9(ダイナミックス9)スイッチング・システムが採用されました。
