For customers residing in Japan
Mayones is made in Poland, Eastern Europe.

Since its establishment in 1982, Mayones has been steadily expanding its market share in Poland, Europe, and all over the world.

The Aquila, released at the 2020 NAMM Show, attracted attention with its traditional style reminiscent of a Strat, but based on the Aquila, it is a 2H with no pickguard and specs similar to other models.

Looking at the top side, the 4A grade quilted maple top, ebony fingerboard, and Gotoh 2-point tremolo give the impression of a versatile model often seen in other brands.
However, when you look at the back of the instrument, you will find Mayones' originality and sense of style.
The wenge neck and body back are made of T.E.W. (Tonally Enhanced Wood) treated ash, a type of roasted wood.

Many Mayones feature high-gain pickups, but this one is a vintage PAF-style Imperial Low model made by Lollar.
Neck: 7.0k (AlNiCo 2) / Bridge: 7.9k (AlNiCo 5), which is one of the lowest gain PAF-style PUs, featuring a bright tone with a wide range in the high range and tight bass strings.

Controls are simple, 1Volume/1Tone, with a Mayones Treble Breed MOD that maintains high frequencies even when the volume is turned down.
A 5-way lever switch selects the PU, and the halftone position has two variations of mixed sounds with coil tapping.
It has excellent balance and grain without being boomy in any position, and you will feel the effect especially with complex-sounding chords in an ensemble.

The fast startup and the dense, clear, and smooth extended tone are also compatible with fingerpicking phrases, and even with spatial effects, the tone is not buried and comes through beautifully.
The sharpness of the response to picking stands out so much that it feels peaky for a moment in drive and lead sounds.
You may feel a little uncomfortable until you find the right point, but once you get it under control, you will be able to enjoy the expressiveness that makes the most of its sharpness.
The tightness of the pickups, which is not lost even when driven, allows for a good sound in ensembles, and is also recommended for use in recording and home recording environments.

If you expect the high-gain sound of the existing Mayones, you may be disappointed, but the expressiveness and tightness in the low-gain range, including nuance tracking and range, will give you a fresh sound that is unparalleled.

The controls are also seamless, with Gotoh trim-lock pegs, stainless steel frets, and LUMINLAY side position markings.
It is not a guitar that will appeal to everyone, but for those who appreciate its unique sound and versatility, this guitar will be a one-of-a-kind weapon.

This model is still in limited supply in Japan, so please take this opportunity to try it out.
