For customers residing in Japan
This model is the Si (silicon version) of the "SMUG FACE" using the BC108C. It is based on the sound of a '69 Fuzz Face owned by the creator, and the core transistor is not the TFK used in the original, but an older transistor. The transistor with the closest nuance to the original was used after trying a number of older and more recent transistors. (The legs are a mixture of silver and gold.)

▷:SHAVE

The "▷:SHAVE" knob adjusts the amount of bass, equivalent to the original fuzz face when turned fully left. Turning it to the right reduces the bass and slightly lowers the gain. The original fuzz face may be saturated and incompatible with some guitars (humbuckers, etc.), or it may be difficult to use the pedal when it is turned on because you have to squeeze the hand of the guitar to get the sound out of the pedal.
By adjusting the SHAVE, I think it will adapt to some extent.

当モデルはBC108Cを使用した「SMUG FACE」のSi(シリコンバージョン)です。制作者の所有する69年製のファズフェイスのサウンドを基に制作されており、核となるトランジスタは、オリジナルで使用されたTFKではなく、古いトランジスタが使用されています。古いものや近年のものをいくつも試された中でもっともオリジナルに近いニュアンスのトランジスタを採用。(脚はシルバーとゴールドが混在します。)

「▷:SHAVE」は低音の量を調整可能なノブで、左に全開でオリジナルのファズフェイスと同等。右に回していくと低音が減り、ゲインも少し下がります。オリジナルのファズフェイスでは使用するギター(ハムバッカーなど)によって飽和して相性が悪かったり、ペダルをオンにした時にギターの手元を絞らないと音が抜けないなどの使いづらさがあると思います。
SHAVEで調整する事である程度は適応してくれると思います。
