This model succeeds in bringing out the potential of the SR Series, a series synonymous with Ibanez basses that has supported Ibanez for many years.

The beautiful, streamlined form of the traditional "SR Design" features a Poplar Burl top with an abstract, flourishing grain pattern.
The "Okoume" back gives it a fat and powerful sound with a punch in the mid-low range.
The thin shaped neck is made of five layers of "Jatoba" and "Walnut" for strength and response, which are often lost when playing the instrument.
Panga Panga, which has characteristics similar to those of Wenge, contributes to the beautiful grain and tight, edgy sound.
The multi-scale frets provide ergonomics and playability.
The electrics are equipped with Bartolini BH2 pickups and an Ibanez preamp with 3-band EQ.
The bridge also features the MR5S (monorail) bridge, which has been gaining attention in recent years for its ability to adjust the pitch between strings.

Wide range & low noise equalizer for active sound. (powered by 006P alkaline batteries)
The mid frequency range, which is the key to the bass sound, can be switched between 250Hz, 450Hz, and 700Hz by switching the switch.
The EQ bypass switch can also be used as a passive bass (when bypassed: Treble, Treble, Treble, Treble, and Treble). (When bypassed, the Treble knob controls the tone.)

MR5S bridge
The MR5S (monorail) bridge is equipped with a string-to-string pitch adjustment mechanism.
Each string is independent of the other, and the vibration of the strings is transmitted directly to the body.
The saddle can be moved ±1.5 mm to the left and right, and the space between strings (pitch between strings) can be adjusted as desired within the range of movement.
