Warwick is the world's leading high-end bass brand, born in Germany in 1982.
The introduction of this modern bass, with its use of new woods, original yet ergonomic body shape, and highly realized sound, has created a "new wave" in the electric bass world and among bassists around the world. This model is a Custom Shop Masterbuilt grade, the highest grade model of Warwick Bass.
Custom Shop products are made from wood from the Custom Shop's exclusive lumberyard, where only the best quality wood is selected and stocked by Warwick, the largest lumber storage facility in Europe. Unlike most instrument makers who purchase pre-sliced lumber, Warwick purchases logs as tall as an adult male and processes them in-house. The best of these woods are selected for the Custom Shop, so you can understand the volume and quality of the wood.

The Streamer Jazz Man model is one of the most popular models in the regular lineup.

Flame Maple for the body top and Swamp Ash for the back. The body top is made of Flame Maple and the back is made of Swamp Ash, which is the key to the massive sound of this model.
The neck is made of Wenge, a hard wood native to Africa that can be said to be Warwick's signature.

The pickups are Warwick's original electronics brand MEC Active J hum pickups. As the name "Jazz Man" implies, the arrangement of the pickups is a combination of a jazz bass and a music man. The front JBPU is slanted up to the right, making the first string side warmer and the fifth string side tighter.
The rear PU can be set to series, parallel, or tapped with a mini-switch, allowing for a wide variety of sound creation.

A USB rechargeable lithium battery is built into the cavity on the back of the body to power the active circuit, a modern specification.
