The "Strandberg Master Artist Series" is a new series starting this year. This series is completely limited production. This time we have a 7-string model with flame maple top and flame maple fingerboard selected by our staff. This is Strandberg's first colored fingerboard model, and the color fade is bold and highly original.

We ordered the "Aurora" model, which has a beautiful gradation of colors. This coloring is unique among the many guitars lined up and catches the eye of anyone who sees it, and as the name suggests, the coloring is based on the image of the Northern Lights. The contrast between the bright color and the deep color is beautiful, and the superb graininess that can be glimpsed through it makes its presence stand out even more.

This model is made in Japan, manufactured and assembled at the best workshop in Japan. The model is made of high-grade wood owned by the workshop, and is finished with the one and only painting technique that combines beauty and impact. As mentioned above, this is Strandberg's first colored fingerboard model, and such a beautiful gradation is difficult to express without the painting techniques of our workshop, and the fade pattern of the color is the best part of the MAS series, where the master luthier's ideas and arrangement techniques are utilized. The body top is covered with a selected flame flame.

The body top is made of selected flame maple, and the body back is made of rare Honduran mahogany. The neck is made of maple with walnut neck fillets, and the fingerboard is made of flame maple selected in the same way as the body top.

Two Suhr "Hot 7" pickups are installed. The pickups are high-power, wide-range pickups with a crisp, edgy tone that is very attractive. Even when strongly distorted, the sound is not mangled, and it is still strong and clear.

The 3-way toggle switch allows for 1 tone and 1 volume for easy operation, and the coil tap function makes it ideal for both stage and home recording. The hardware is also equipped with Boden NX Hardwares, which increases both durability and design.

The Strandberg's first colored fingerboard has a gradient color with plenty of presence.
The neck and body are made of the finest wood grain, a specification made possible only by Strandberg and its top-notch workshops in Japan. The result is a model that looks and sounds like one of the best in Japan!

今年度から新しいシリーズの展開となる「Strandberg Master Artist Series」。完全限定生産となる本シリーズ。今回入荷したのは当店のスタッフにより選定されたフレイム・メイプルトップ、フレイム・メイプル指板を使用した7弦モデル。ストランドバーグ初となるカラードフィンガーボードモデルとなり、大胆でオリジナリティの高いカラーフェイドを実現したモデルに仕上がりました。

当店の個体はカラーに美しいグラデーションの彩に身を包んだ「Aurora(オーロラ)」をオーダー致しました。沢山のギターが並ぶ中でも異彩を放ち、誰が見ても目に留まるこのカラーは名前の通りオーロラをイメージしたカラーリング。鮮やかなカラーと深みのあるカラーのコントラストが美しく、そこから垣間見える極上な杢目がより存在感を際立たせています。

国内最高峰の工房で製作・組み込みを行った日本製モデル。その工房の所有するハイグレードの木材を採用し、唯一無二の塗装技術を駆使した美しさとインパクトを両立したモデルへと仕上がっております。前述させて頂きましたがストランドバーグ初となるカラードフィンガーボードモデルとなり、この様な美しいグラデーションは当工房の塗装技術でないと表現が難しく、カラーのフェイドパターンはMASシリーズの醍醐味とも言えるマスタールシアーのアイデアとアレンジの技が活かされています。

ボディトップには選定されたフレイム・メイプルを採用し、ボディバックには希少なホンジュラス・マホガニーを採用。ネック材にはメイプルにウォルナットのネックフィレット、指板材にはボディトップと同様に選定されたフレイム・メイプルを採用しております。

ピックアップにはSuhrの「Hot 7」を2基搭載。ハイパワー且つワイドレンジなピックアップとなっておりエッジの効いたキレのあるトーンが魅力的なピックアップとなります。7弦ギターにありがちな低音弦側がぼやけてしまう事が無く、程よくタイトなローとしっかりと抜けるハイをアウトプットします。強く歪ませても音がつぶれる事無く、しっかりと抜けてくれます。

3wayトグルスイッチで1トーン・1ヴォリュームで操作性も確保しつつ、コイルタップも搭載しておりますのでステージでも宅録でも活躍の場が広く取れる点も魅力的です。ハードウェアもBoden NX Hardwaresが搭載されており、耐久性含めデザイン性も増しています。

ストランドバーグ初となるカラードフィンガーボードに存在感たっぷりのグラデーションカラー。
ネックとボディに極上な杢目をセレクトし、ストランドバーグと国内最高峰の工房だからこそ実現できるスペックです。ルックス・サウンド共に国内最高峰のモデルを堪能できる1本に仕上がりました！
