Gorgeous jumbo model with arched back!

Made in 1974. Top of the line Jumbo model with side & back and neck made of maple. The sides and back are made of laminate wood with beautiful flamed maple grain, and the back is arched. The G-shield inlay on the head and V-block inlay on the fingerboard are the hallmarks of a higher-end model and are a pleasure to own.
There are some dings, scratches, scuffs, faint weather checks, paint deterioration, and faded and dulled plating on metal parts, but there is no noticeable damage and the instrument is appropriate for its age. The nut, saddle, and frets have been replaced.
The nut, saddle, and frets have been replaced, and the bridge has been modified. The neck is slightly raised, but not to the extent that it interferes with playing. The saddle has been lowered to the very limit, but a deep string groove has been cut in the bridge to maintain tension. The frets remain over 90% high, and both playability and sound are perfect.
Considering the craftsmanship of Guild at that time, we can say that this guitar is in perfect playing condition. The weight and horsepower are characteristic of Guilds of this era. The jumbo maple body gives the guitar a thick and bold sound.

「アーチド・バック採用のゴージャスなジャンボ・モデル！」

1974年製。サイド＆バック、ネックにメイプルを採用したジャンボ・モデル最上位モデル。サイド＆バックはフレイム・メイプルの杢目が美しいラミネイト材が使用され、バックはアーチド加工が施されているのが特徴となっています。ヘッドのGシールド・インレイ、指板のVブロック・インレイは上位モデルの証で、持つ喜びも感じさせてくれます。
打痕、引っ掻き傷、擦り傷、うっすらとしたウェザー・チェック、塗膜の劣化、金属部品のメッキの退色とくすみが見られますが、目立つダメージはなく、年式相応と言えるでしょう。WAVER製マグネティック・ピックアップとネック・ヒールのストラップ・ピンが後付けされています。
ナット、サドル、フレットの交換歴、ブリッジの修正歴が伺えます。ネックはシビアに見れば僅かに元起きしていますが、演奏に支障のない範囲です。サドルはぎりぎりまで下げられていますが、ブリッジに弦の溝を深く切ってテンションを維持させています。フレットの高さは9割以上残っており、演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。
当時のギルドのクラフツマンシップを考慮すれば、当個体は十分なプレイヤーズ・コンディションを維持していると言えるでしょう。ずっしりとした重量感と馬力がこの時代のギルドの特徴。メイプル材のジャンボ・ボディらしい、野太いドンシャリのサウンドをお楽しみいただけます。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.
