USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Custom 24 Bird Obsidian Pattern Regular Neck [03]

We have a used 2014 Custom 24 in the "Obsidian" color that has now disappeared from our color lineup!

Custom 24
From its inception in 1985 to the present day, the Custom 24, one of PRS' flagship models, has undergone numerous specification changes and has always been a leader in the music scene of its time. Although the quality of the early models was already very high, Mr. Paul Reed-Smith's belief that "the latest model is always the best ever" is the result of his continuous pursuit of the best and trial and error. The Custom 24 is loved by guitar players all over the world for its beautiful appearance, excellent playability and durability, sound variation, and the flexibility that allows it to be used in a wide range of genres.

Body, neck, and fingerboard
The body is a royal combination of flame maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

Neck Shape
Pattren Regular" neck shape is used. It is moderately thick and has a grippy feeling.

Pickups
The HFS pickups are the standard "HFS, Vintage Bass", which means Hot, Fat, and Screams, and are the evolution of the original Standard Treble pickups. The HFS is a powerful pickup with a well-balanced attack, clear highs, strong mids, and powerful lows. The Vintage Bass has a warm high-mid sound that is ideal for rock and jazz.

Selector etc.
A 5-way blade switch is equipped to produce a very shimmering half-tone that combines the common humbucker sound with a single coil sound.

Condition
There are scratches on the front pickup from heavy picking, paint chips on the head end, paint is cloudy near the joint, and there are many minor dents and scratches scattered throughout the body.
The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. are all in good playing condition. Also, when the guitar arrived at our repair center, it was fully adjusted and fretted, and the dents on the back of the neck were touched up, so you can use it with peace of mind.
