D-28 Vintage Reissue First-Year Product."

First year product of HD-28VR (later renamed HD-28V), reproducing prewar D-28 specs. Featuring forward-shifted scalloped bracing, long saddle, herringbone trim, slotted square and dimond markers, open-type pegs, beckoned pickguard, modified V-shaped neck, and vintage tonal. It is not a perfect vintage reissue, as it has an adjustable rod, but it captures the atmosphere in both appearance and tone.
There are some dents, scratches, abrasions, flaking of the satin paint on the back of the neck, uneven joints between the plastic and wood parts, and thinning of the binding, but considering the age, the appearance is relatively good.
The neck angle has been adjusted, the fretboard has been modified, and the guitar has been refretted at our affiliated repair store. The nut has been raised with a spacer, and the saddle has been replaced with an octave processed one (cow bone).
Both playability and sound are perfect. It plays and sounds great. You can enjoy the rise that is typical of scalloped bracing, and the horsepower and deep resonance that only a dreadnought can offer. Recommended for bluegrassers.

「D-28ヴィンテージ復刻版初年度製品」

戦前のD-28のスペックを再現したHD-28VR(後年HD-28Vに名称変更)の初年度製品。フォワードシフト・スキャロップド・ブレーシング、ロング・サドル、ヘリンボーン・トリム、スロッテド・スクエア＆ダイモンド・マーカー、オープン・タイプ・ペグ、ベッコウ柄ピックガード、モディファイドVシェイプ・ネック、ヴィンテージ・トナーをフィーチャー。アジャスタブル・ロッドが採用されるなどしており、完全なヴィンテージ・リイシューとは言えませんが、外観、音色ともに雰囲気は捉えています。
打痕、引っ掻き傷、擦り傷、ネック裏のサテン塗装のてかり、プラスティック部と木部の接合箇所の段差、バインディングの痩せなどの使用感、経年劣化は確認できますが、年式を考慮すれば比較的良好な外観を維持していると言えるでしょう。
当店の提携先リペア・ショップにてネックのアングル調整、指板修正とリフレットをおこなっています。ナットはスペーサーで嵩上げ調整をしてあり、サドルはオクターブ加工がある物(牛骨)に交換されております。
演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。気持ち良く弾けて、そして良く鳴ります。スキャロップド・ブレーシングらしい立ち上がりの良さ、ドレッドノートならではの馬力と深いレゾナンスが味わえます。ブルーグラッサーにお勧めの一本。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
