Custom 22
Compared to the Custom 24, the Custom 22 has a different character and is in extremely limited supply in Japan. This is one of the classic PRS models.

Body, neck, and fingerboard
The body is a royal combination of flame maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

Neck Shape
Wide Fat" neck shape is adopted. Neck shape has moderate thickness and good grip without feeling hard to play.

Pickups
A set of standard "Dragon II" pickups are installed. Alnico 4 magnets are used to give McCarty's vintage feel and easy-to-handle tone with power.

Selector etc.
The versatile sound produced by the 5-way rotary can be used with a wide variety of music genres. Especially, the coil-tapped sound in the mix position is only possible with this 5-way rotary specification.

Position 1: Humbucker (bridge)
Position 2: Single coil (bridge) + Single coil (neck): Parallel * between inner coils
Position 3: Single Coil (Bridge) + Single Coil (Neck): Series * between outer coils
Position 4: Single Coil (Bridge) + Single Coil (Neck): Parallel * between outer coils
Position 5: Humbucker (neck)

The PRS has been a favorite of guitarists of all genres for many years, and is sure to provide maximum performance in live, session, and recording situations.

Condition
The bridge, pegs, and other hardware parts are dull, and the entire body is dotted with minor scratches and dings, but considering the year of manufacture, it is in beautiful condition with relatively little signs of use.

Of course, there are no problems with the neck, frets, truss rod, or any other playing-related conditions.
The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. are all in good playing condition, and have been fully adjusted and fretted at our repair center upon arrival.

Custom24に比べて国内入荷数が極端に少なく、異なるキャラクターを持つCustom22。フレット数が代表モデル『Custom 24』より2フレット少なく、それによる組み込み、PUの位置などの違いで24よりもよりリッチで音楽的なサウンドが魅力のPRS定番モデルの一つです。

ボディ・ネック・指板
ボディにはフレイムメイプルトップ、マホガニーバック、マホガニーネックと王道の組み合わせ。指板にはインディアンローズウッドを採用。

ネックシェイプ
ネックシェイプは「Wide Fat」を採用。適度な厚みで弾きにくさを感じさせない、程よいグリップ感のあるネックシェイプでございます。

ピックアップ
ピックアップには定番の「Dragon II」をセットで搭載。アルニコ4マグネットを採用しMcCartyのビンテージフィールを残しながらもグッと押し出すパワー感も備えた非常に扱いやすいトーンでございます。

セレクターetc
また5Wayロータリーから繰り出される多彩はサウンドは幅広いジャンルの楽曲にマッチいたします。特にミックスポジションでのコイルタップサウンドはこの5Wayロータリー仕様ならでは。
