Tom Anderson
Founded in the mid-1980s as a California garage brand, Anderson Guitar Works, Tom's guitars have often been described as "the best guitars on the planet. Only the finest and most beautiful woods are selected from the lumber mills. The process integrates traditional handcrafting with the latest technology by skilled craftsmen to create bodies and necks that are especially precise and comfortable. The company is also renowned for offering a wide range of pickups designed to deliver optimum tone, and for pioneering the use of ultraviolet paint curing to dramatically improve the sound potential of its instruments. The company's philosophy of "all the right parts, assembled just right" was truly reflected in the playability and sound of its instruments. Tom Anderson guitars have been used by many famous musicians, including Richie Sambora, John Sykes, and Vivica Campbell, Vivian Campbell, and others...some of the biggest hard rock guitarists have used Tom Anderson guitars. Also, Kirk Hammett of Metallica has a model with a unique design. In Japan, DAITA is famous for using this model. There are many others. This brand is also famous for the very small number of pieces produced each year. The spirit of the company, which insists on handmade products and does not break the system to assemble and ship one by one with certain accuracy, is still alive and well. It is said that only about 600 pieces are produced per year, and only about 100 of them enter Japan. Considering this, the fact that so many big-name musicians own these instruments in spite of the very small number produced means that a very high percentage of them are in the hands of professionals, and once again, the greatness of this brand can be understood.

Body, neck, and fingerboard
Alder body with quilted maple top, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Only the neck is satin-finished to ensure playability.
The standard Even-Taper neck shape, 1 11/16" nut width, and jumbo frets are used.

Equipped with the well-known "Buzz Fayton tuning system" for outstanding tuning accuracy and sound isolation.

The unique "A Wedgie" two-point neck joint system provides a wide contact surface between the body and the neck, resulting in excellent response and sustain.

Pickups
The SC1 SC1 HF2 pickups are equipped.

The SC1 pickups have hum canceling construction, so they do not suffer from noise and have a richer tone than real vintage pickups.

The HF2 pickup is based on the vintage sound with a modern flavor and features a brighter tone with higher energy in the middle range.

Controls
In addition to simple controls of 1Vol, 1Tone, and 5-way selector, a 3-way mini switch can be used as center/normal, front side/splitter, and opposite side/VA Booster (+4dB, passive). In addition, an add-bridge design allows an additional rear P.U. to be mixed by turning up the tone knob when a single P.U. is used. It looks simple, but it allows for a wide variety of sound making.

VA Booster is a switch that is mainly installed in combination with a 5-point selector switch, which adds 4 decibels to the pickup's output. This may seem strange since it does not require batteries, but it is a mechanism that allows a pickup with strong power to be installed in advance and the output is reduced (i.e., VA Booster is deactivated) to the same level as that of a normal guitar.

Condition
There are some rice-sized dents on the top of the body and scratches on the back of the body, but the guitar is in relatively clean condition with little signs of use!

The neck condition is almost as straight as possible, as if to say, "Tom Anderson! The neck condition is almost straight and the strings are almost parallel to the fingerboard from the nut side to the bridge side.
