BG-100 from the BG (Bluegrass) series released in the 70's by Kasuga Gakki is now in stock.
It is made of carefully selected woods and has a dignified appearance.
It has a luxurious sound with a strong bell tone, and the sound is very good and comfortable to play, so it is one that should be played for a long time rather than being collected.

Although there are some scratches, scuffs, and paint reaction due to age, it can be said to be relatively clean. The frets have been adjusted, and there is plenty of fret life left. The truss rod has about 90 degrees left, so there are no problems with its effectiveness. The neck is in good condition, and the string height at the 12th fret is about 3.0mm for the 6th string and 2.3mm for the 1st string.
The pegs are firm, and there are some dents on the back of the neck, 2nd and 8th fret, but they do not cause any stress to the player.

The power wood construction has a unique X-bracing style at the time and is made of American cedar. As a bluegrass guitar, it was researched and created to have a balanced sound with bass power and a deadened tone.
The oil varnish finish used is a meticulous process of applying several coats of oil varnish directly to the guitar over a period of days. The more the guitar is played, the more the vintage guitar will be enhanced.

70年代にリリースされていた春日楽器製のBG(ブルーグラス)シリーズからBG-100が入荷です。
厳選された木材を丁寧に組み上げ製作されており、年代も相まって貫禄のあるいで立ち。
鈴鳴り感が強く豪奢なサウンド、音抜けもかなり良く弾いていて気持ちいいので、コレクションよりは末永く弾いていっていただきたい1本です。

傷や擦れ、経年による塗装反応はあるものの比較的キレイな個体と言えます。フレットの調整もされており残りも充分で、トラスロッドも90度ほど残しており効きは問題ございません。ネックコンデションも適正で弦高は12フレットで6弦：3.0mm/1弦：2.3mmほどと演奏性も良好です。
ペグの動きは固めで、ネック裏、2Fと8F裏に打痕がございますが、演奏のストレスは軽微です。

当時、力木構造は独自のXブレイシングスタイルを持ち、アメリカンシダーで作られています。ブルーグラスギターとして、低音のパワーと枯れたバランスの良いサウンドを目指し研究・作成されました。
また、採用された仕上げのオイル・ニス・フィニッシュは直接ギターにオイルニスをしみこませるように日数をかけて、何度も塗っていく丹念な作業を施しています。弾き込むほどにヴィンテージギターらしく味の出てくる仕上がりが魅力。
