USED FENDER USA / Musicmaster Bass [03]

Fender's short scale bass, "Musicmaster Bass" was released in 1970.
We are pleased to announce that we now have in stock a 1980 version of the same model.

Like the Mustang Bass released in the mid-1960s, it has the same 30-inch, 19-fret specification, but it is equipped with a guitar pickup with six pole pieces and a capacitor for constant high cut in addition to the usual tone control. It is a very unique model with blurred contours and a lovely sound.

The serial number "S835564" and the pot pickup dates ("xxxx 80 20", "137 80 20", "192180") indicate that it was made in 1980.
Some of the wiring seems to have been re-soldered.

Finger rest is missing, and there are scratches and dents that are commensurate with the age of the guitar.
The pickguard and joint plate cushions are cracked. There are also some sticker marks on the body.

The truss rod and neck are in good condition.

Please try this unique bass that is a little off the high street.
