Q58" H-H pickups
HH arrangement of the Q58 humbucker pickups developed for the "Q".
The pickups are designed to sound well-balanced in all frequencies so that the sound can be easily made up with effects pedals, etc. The low frequency range is powerful without being muddy.

dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch
The dyna-MIX10 can be switched between humbucker mode and single coil mode with the touch of a mini-switch, giving you 10 different sound variations.
In power-tap mode, one coil is tapped and the other coil is specially wired to bring out the low frequency range of the other coil, resulting in clear highs and a thicker, more clearly defined sound than can be obtained with a simple tap.

Ibanez's newly developed "Custom string lock" is a simple one-piece construction.
It is durable and easy to change strings.
It also allows you to use your favorite gauge and brand of strings, without the need for special strings.
Mono Tune bridges
The wide range of intonation adjustment makes it easy to tune down one note or more.
String height adjustment is also easy. The number of parts that make up the saddle has been minimized to achieve a natural sound that brings out the full sound of the guitar itself.
