Made in 1989, this instrument is a D-35 with a square rod, which is a specification from the 1970s, although adjustable rods started to be adopted in the mid-1980s.
Compared to the D-28, the D-35 has a three-piece back, neck binding, and slightly thinner non-scalloped bracing.
The model was originally suited for singing, but after 30 years, it has been sublimated to a sound that gives a sense of surround sound while maintaining a sense of tension in the sound.

There are some dents and scratches throughout, but considering the age of the instrument, it is in beautiful condition.
The binding around the 20-30 year old dreadnought shape body often peels off, and this instrument was slightly peeling at the time of arrival, so it has been glued and repaired.
The binding is prone to paint cracks around the binding due to shrinkage over time, and this instrument also has some clear paint cracks around the binding, but there are no problems in playing.
The neck is slightly warped, but the condition of the body top and the saddle height indicate that it is in fair condition. The string height is also kept at a modern standard value.
The saddle and nut, which are consumable parts, have been replaced, and the bridge pins have also been replaced.

Overall, this guitar is in good condition.
The case comes with a Martin black hard case with "D 35" sticker attached.

1989年製。80年代中頃からアジャスタブル・ロッドが採用され始めておりますが、本器は70年代の仕様であるスクエア・ロッド採用のD-35です。
D-28と比べ、3ピースバックの採用、ネックバインディング有り、若干細めのノン・スキャロップブレーシングを採用する等、似て非なる個性を持ったシリーズ。
元々歌ものとの相性も良いモデルですが、30年以上の年月を経たことにより音の張り感を持ちつつサラウンド感を感じさせてくれる鳴りに昇華されています。

打痕や傷は全体的に散見されますが、年代から考えれば綺麗なコンディションと言えます。
20-30年経過したドレッドノートシェイプボディのバインディング周りは剥がれる事がよくあり、本器も入荷時点では若干はがれかけていた為接着リペアを施しています。
バインディングは経年による収縮が見られるためその周りの塗装割れが発生しやすく、本機もバインディング周りは所々クリア塗装割れが見られますが演奏上問題ございません。
ネックは僅かに順反りがみられますが、ボディトップの状態とサドル高からみても適正程度のコンディション。弦高も現代的な標準値をキープしています。
消耗品であるサドルやナットは交換されており、合わせてブリッジピンの交換も見られます。

全体を通してみれば良好なコンディションを保った1本でしょう。
「D 35」のステッカーが後付されたマーティン・ブラック・ハードケースが付属致します。
