A very rare item among the rarest of the rare! This 1961 Les Paul Junior, which was featured in Player's Book, has miraculously arrived in stock!

We have checked the wood grain, location of scratches, pickguard cracks, and wiring details such as solder, etc., by several of our staff members, and found that this guitar is the one listed on P14, which is a miracle guitar.

The Les Paul model was born in the 1950s.
The history of the Junior model is one of the oldest among Gibson electric guitars, and it was already on sale in 1954, and has been loved by many users to this day.

The 1961 model we have just received is a transitional model with the "Les Paul Junior" decal on the head, although it is an SG shape.
Many of you may know that the early SGs were called Les Paul.

Until around 1963, the model name was SG, but the decal was "Les Paul Junior," but after that, the decal was no longer officially applied to the head.
The Junior produced in 1961 was available in Les Paul shape and the current SG shape, but not many were produced, making it a very valuable instrument in that respect as well.

The capacitor inside the cavity is Sprague Black Beauty, instead of the ceramic capacitor used in many SG shape guitars of this period.
This is a truly special guitar that is the result of many special and miraculous events.

There are some nut and fret replacements, but these are no longer a problem, and are natural repairs for a solidly used instrument, and they enhance the value of the instrument itself as well as its historical value.

The case comes with the original chipboard case, but the handle is damaged, and a separate non-original brown hard case is included.
(There are signs that the cushion has been removed from a part of the case.)

This is a very special piece that is historically very valuable and even more so, it has been published in a book.
