The body is made of 2pcs swamp ash in the center. The back is not made of mahogany, which gives it a look and sound that connoisseurs can enjoy to the fullest. The coloring is "Vintage Cherry", reminiscent of the "Swamp Ash Special" of yesteryear. The set neck is made of high-grade, quarter-sawn, figured maple, which is typical of PRS. The response and attack that mahogany does not have is a nice choice for PRS players who seek a modern sound. The neck shape is "Pattern Thin" with a 24F specification that boasts high playability in the high position.
The PU is the "85/15" released in 2015. The wide range is clear and modern approach is possible, and the result is a wonderful fusion of tradition and innovation. The sound of the PU in clean mode is certainly responsive, with a solid low end and nuanced high end. When driven, the gain is solid and the modern sound is sure to satisfy many players. The front PU "85/15 Bass" has an alnico magnet with a DC resistance of approximately 8.15k (manufacturer's announced value), and the mids are restrained, while the lows are moderate and the edges are assertive. The rear PU "85/15 Treble" also has an Alnico magnet with a DC resistance of approximately 9.03k (manufacturer's announced value), which produces tight lows, moderate mids, and a full treble that produces a PRS-like nuke. The switch is a 3-way toggle switch instead of a 5-way blade switch, and each PU can be coil-tapped by pulling the tone pot.

There are scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents on the body. There are some faint dents on the right side of the body back. There is also a line scratch on the lower left edge of the body back. There are a few dark spots on the back of the neck and fingerboard. Some of the gold hardware has some chipping, but the rest of the hardware is in good working order with only minor signs of use.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable with room to spare on both sides. There are no string marks on the frets and about 90% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, there are few signs of use, and it can be recommended for those who are considering a new one. Swamp ash was used in the 50s by the F Company, and the maple neck also makes one imagine that kind of tone, but the tight lows, edgy highs, and presence of the mids make this a nice choice for a modern tone that can also be used for gentler tones, etc. If you are a player who loves the past bolt-on model "Swamp Ash Special", you will definitely want to get this one as a variation of it! Although it does not have the royal PRS specs, the sound is excellent, and our staff is convinced that it is one of the best!

Neck condition is fine.
The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can be turned fully in the direction to tighten for adjustment.
