USED FENDER JAPAN / ST68-YM Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster [05]

Yngvay Malmsteen is one of the most important figures in the music world who has always been at the forefront of music with his high performance ability since he first appeared on the music scene and continues to gain followers all over the world.
His signature model ST68-YJM, which is a condensed version of his obsession with guitars, is now in stock in pre-owned condition.

This model is based on a 1968 Stratocaster with a large head shape without frets and a rounded maple fretboard.

Basswood is used for the body. The fingerboard is the well-known scalloped fingerboard. The frets are Jim Dunlop #6000 jumbo frets.
Nut is made of brass, and nut width is 40mm, which is a slender neck shape unique to the large head period.

The neck joint uses an anchor bolt neck joint system, which further improves the sound and tone of the guitar by making the neck and body more tightly adhered to each other.
This joint system was not used on the ST71-YJM, which was also available at the time, and was only used on the ST68-YJM.

The front and center pickups are Dimarzio DP217YJM, and the rear pickups are Dimarzio HS-3.
Currently, Seymour Duncan YJM pickups have been replaced by Dimarzio YJMs, making this a rare Dimarzio period instrument.
The sticker "DP217 YJM" is attached on the back of the pickups, which is a big difference from the recent DP217 design.

There are some metal parts that are dull, but overall there is no major damage. There are some minor scratches and light dings, and the condition is clean.

The guitar has been checked and adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
