The single-cut shape has been used on the PENTAGONE in the past, and this new model is a development of that shape, with a unique neck joint method unique to the single-cut shape.

In addition to the five screws holding the body and neck vertically, two screws are used diagonally from the 15th and 18th frets of the single-cut horn to further secure the neck, preventing neck twisting that tends to occur with bolt-on joints.
The neck and body have many bonding surfaces, which gives the body and neck a unified sound, just like a set neck joint.

The head shape is also unique and elongated, and by fixing the pegs with specially developed hardware, the weight of the head is reduced, which allows for a very stable body balance even when played standing up.

The ARC82 pickups are newly developed and have a more powerful and dynamic sound than the conventional ARC pickups due to the use of a large ball piece.
Like the ARC pickups, each independent pickup can be rotated, so the position of the ball piece can be changed from perpendicular to the strings, as with single coil pickups, to a position closer to a humbucker where the ball piece is parallel to the strings, allowing the sound to change from the tight and clear sound of single coil pickups to a more powerful humbucker sound. This allows for linear sound makeup of each string, from the tight and punchy sound of a single to the high pressure humbucker-like sound of a humbucker.
