BOSS OD-1 manufactured circa 1979 is in stock!

This memorable model was the first compact effects pedal series in the history of BOSS, released in 1977, and was also the world's first overdrive. At the time, it became explosively popular after Jeff Beck used it as his favorite pedal, and was loved by professionals and amateurs alike until its production was discontinued in the 80s.

This model is lot no. 8000, and the op-amp is a Raytheon RC3403ADB. It also has silver screws and skeleton switches. The LED indicator is dedicated to the battery checker.

The insulating sheet is not cardboard but plastic, and there are signs that it was replaced by some kind of Roland service in 1984. The rubber part of the back panel is missing.

The warm and natural drive sound is always the most attractive feature of this instrument. It is also rich in overtones and excellent as a booster.

1977年に発売されたBOSS史上初のコンパクトエフェクターシリーズであり、世界初のオーバードライブでもあった記念すべきモデルです。当時、ジェフベックが愛用したことで爆発的な人気となり、プロアマ問わず80年代の生産終了時まで愛されたペダルです。

本機はロットNO.8000、オペアンプはレイセオンRC3403ADBを搭載しています。また、銀ネジ、スケルトンスイッチとなっています。動作にも問題なく、年式を考えると非常にキレイなコンディションを保っています。LEDインジケータはバッテリー・チェッカー専用です。

絶縁シートが厚紙ではなく、プラとなっており1984年にローランドの何かしらのサービスを受けた形跡がございますのでその際に交換されたと推測されます。裏パネルはゴム部がなくなっております。

常にウォームでナチュラルなドライブサウンドが最大の魅力。倍音豊かでもあり、ブースターとしても優秀です。

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
