Serial brings us a 1981 Les Paul Standard.

This 80s model, in the vein of the 70s, features a 3-piece maple top, mahogany back body, 3-piece maple neck with volute, and rose fingerboard material.
Unlike vintage reissues, the arched shape of the body and the size of the head are unique to this period.
The solid tone from the heavy body and the maple neck gives it a fast start-up, which is typical of the hard rock era.

The pickups have been replaced with two DiMarzio PAF pickups, and there are some marks of refret/re-nut, peg replacement, and missing cover in the cavity.
The condition is good enough considering the age of the guitar, with no playability issues, although the paint is peeling near the strap pins, the buckle is scratched, and the lines on the top seam are raised due to paint loss.

シリアルから1981年製のレスポール・スタンダードが入荷。

70年代の流れを汲む80sモデル。3ピースのメイプルトップにマホガニーバックボディ、ボリュート付きの3ピースメイプルネック、ローズ指板のマテリアルを採用。
ヴィンテージリイシューとは違い、ボディのアーチ形状やヘッドの大きさなどこの年代ならではの趣があります。
重量感のあるボディからなるソリッドなトーンと、メイプルネックによって立ち上がりが早くハードロック全盛期らしい1本です。

現状、ピックアップがDiMarzioのPAFに2基交換されているのと、リフレット/リナット、ペグの交換跡、キャビティ内のカバー欠品があります。POT等はシリアルと年式はズレていますが純正と思われます。
状態はストラップピン付近の塗装剥がれやバックル傷、塗装痩せによってトップの継ぎ目の線が浮き出ていますが演奏性に問題は無く、年代を考慮すると充分に良いコンディションといえます。
